A senior manager of the IPC's Strategic Investment Department, though I suppose that might as well be on pause. Right now, I'm a senior manager at Phoenix Casino, instead - why don't you stop by sometime during the evening, and you might as well be met with a bunny surprise.

Glad you asked! Though I'm not sure how much it counts for a talent, I have quite the impressive luck. No matter the gamble, the danger, the puzzle ahead of me - if I bet it all on my "luck", then I know I'll come out of it the winner.
Though if you want actual talents, then you will have to get to know me and find out yourself.
I haven't yet read all the books in the universe, or watched all the movies, or listened to all the songs, or eaten all the food... So it's hard to say I have a proper favorite, isn't it?

Most of my childhood was spent under the scalding hot sun of the desert, and though I'm quite used to it, I can't help but enjoy the comforting cold of winter nights the most. Besides, sharing a warm blanket with someone isn't so bad of a way to spend a winter day, is it?

Each kind of fabric has a time and a place to belong. Leather for something more formal, perhaps even casual. Lace, for a more intimate encounter. But both do suit me, don't you think?

My guardian, mentor, ( owner, ) was three heads taller than me and had the face of a vulture. But there’s no word for it, like that— he was simply from the high mountains, where the people are blessed by the birds they give their bodies to.
( honestly the whole furry event was like one big extended microaggression with how the house treated it? makes u think. but with that little bit of exposition shared, kirma finds himself reconsidering aventurine’s question. perhaps it doesn’t mean much in the literal sense this that the subject has turned to, but it is something unattainable, in a more abstract sense. his choice of example could have been better, huh. )

funny how he can relate. please ask mhy for royalties. though aventurine can't quite tell whether kirma's own issues come from general prejudice, there has been too many a time in his life where one look at his eyes would define his whole personality and character. sigonians are infamous throughout the universe, they would say, treacherous, smugglers, dishonest and untrustworthy. he couldn't even speak back, if he wanted to. sigonians are divided by clans, he could say. the avgin have never done anything wrong, but no one would believe him.

The place I'm from, ( he starts, slowly and measured, unsure of what exactly to say, and how truthful he wants to be with his words, ) we also have a name for the kind of being I am. Ah, well, it's more to do with the planet I was born, and the clan I belonged. But the Avgin don't exactly have the best reputation across the cosmos.
... That's to say, you're not alone in that. ( shitty attempt at comforting, because no man as destructive and self-deprecating as aventurine could possibly succeed at something that also eats at him. even his half-truths half-lies lose weight, here. ) You learn to be different, and if you don't make peace with it, others will use it against you. But regardless of what you are, or what you aren't, you're still just 'Kirma' to me.

I suppose that’s what counts, isn’t it. ( there’s a wry sort of amusement in his voice, though it isn’t that he doesn’t appreciate the sentiment— but a name is a funny thing, you know. he and his didn’t meet on the best of circumstances, but neither does he have an alternative; and you learn to make peace with these things, lest they eat you alive from the inside, while you lay awake at night. it’s a thought he hasn’t touched on in a long, long time. a little surprise from the past, brought back up to the surface.

Unlike you, I'm satisfied with what I know about the world.
( the difference between them: kirma commits to some level of willful ignorance, lest he becomes forced to acknowledge some uncomfortable truths about the world around him. )

also funny thing to say, considering there will come a day when he will tell kirma about the universe and the many planets out there. but for now, maybe ignorance truly is a bliss. )
