✦ I particularly believe Aventurine has definitely laid with people for work reasons; either to climb up that social ladder or for a job in itself. He's desensitized to the idea of sex and just considers it as a weapon to be used when need be. That being said, I imagine he's extremely uncomfortable having any sort of vanilla or even remotely romantic sex, or anything that has even the tiniest bit of feelings involved. Kissing is on a weird spot for him, and he prefers initiating it (because he'd be aware of his own feelings and the idea of having control over it is preferable) than allowing other people to kiss him unless he's sure that they're not going to be weird about it lol.
